Allows full access to your desktop computer and all functions. Anything you have on your machine will show up on your iPad screen and will be accessible via the network. You are completely untethered and therefor, wireless. Note: you need to download the free Splashtop Streamer from the Internet to your desktop to make the connection.
RH: This app is a must have for the classroom. It will free you from your desk to run videos, internet searches, and too many more!. The only negative factor is that you cannot run anything that originates from your iPad. Everything must be running on your desktop.
If you have the option, the Splashtop Whiteboard is the way to go! It has all the functionality of the Splashtop Remove, but also turns your PC into a whiteboard. Seems like a little add-on, but I have used the whiteboard feature usually one a class period.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Splashtop Remote app. I left my computer on to copy some things from Teacher Shared to my desktop and was able to access it at home and then turn it off! So awesome! I can even access my laptop when I'm at school, without bringing it!!
